Micah is actively being Refreshed.

Joel and Zechariah are the remaining books in the Refresh queue for the Minor Prophets, which will complete the Old Testament, and the Refreshed ASV as a whole.

Evaluating 6x9 3-Ring Binder Edition

In response to an inquiry, we are beginning an evaluation of a new 6x9 3-Ring Binder Edition of the Refreshed ASV New Testament & Psalms. This edition is intended to meet the various needs of Pastors and Professors. The double-column text format would be identical between the PDF, Hardcover, and 3-Ring Binder editions for encompassing workflow commonality.

If the 3-Ring Binder Edition would be of interest to you, please let us know.

Ezekiel is Now Available

The Refreshed ASV Old Testament has been expanded to include the book of Ezekiel in both Digital and Print editions. Please refer to the RASV Old and New Testaments editions and the RASV/ASV Interim Whole Bible editions.

For those who have purchased a Print Edition last week which included Jeremiah, Lamentations, Obadiah, Nahum, and Habakkuk, Ezekiel is included.

What’s Next

The books of Daniel and Hosea have been Refreshed and are now in our internal Proofreading queue.

Amos is actively being Refreshed.

Joel, Micah, and Zechariah are the remaining books in the Refresh queue for the Minor Prophets, which will complete the Old Testament, and the Refreshed ASV as a whole.

New PDF Chapter Bookmarks and Additional PDF Editions

We are pleased to share that two additional PDF enhancements are now available:

  1. The PDF editions of the RASV New Testament & Psalms and the RASV Old & New Testament books completed to-date now include identical 6x9 formatting between the Digital and Print Editions. The text size, double column, and page numbering are now identical and will be of use for those who use both format types.

  2. All PDF Editions now include Chapter bookmarks. Instead of navigating to the beginning of a book and then clicking the desired chapter, a new dedicated left-hand bookmark navigation panel is now available for PDF reader applications. With no more than two clicks, PDF readers can now navigate from one chapter to any another.

Two new PDF Editions are now available for the RASV/ASV Interim Whole Bible, to compliment the Print Editions, which is comprised of the RASV text completed to-date, along with the ASV 1901 text for the remaining books of the Old Testament (Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Micah, Zechariah).

As we press forward into 2021, we are pleased to share a few updates.

What’s New

The Refreshed ASV Old Testament has been expanded to include the books of Jeremiah, Lamentations, Obadiah, Nahum, and Habakkuk. All of these are now available in the iterative RASV Old & New Testament PDF and ePub editions for desktops, laptops, phones, and tablets.

Proofreading updates have been made to Old and New Testaments editions based on the newly finalized New Testament & Psalms edition.

Three improvements have been made to the ePub editions for desktop, laptops, phones, and tablets:

  1. Chapter numerals have been modified to eliminate import crashes of the Apple Books app reported on iOS and iPadOS mobile devices.

  2. Performance improvements so the file opens, and navigates between books, more quickly

  3. Modified chapter links so they are easier to select with touch screens

What’s Next

The Interim Whole Bible print editions, comprised of text from both the Refreshed ASV and the ASV 1901, will receive the same updates for Jeremiah, Lamentations, Obadiah, Nahum, and Habakkuk.
